This is a post about things I like. Making new friends always helps me discover new places and things. So you can think of this as a post from a friend.
- The Mineral line at Bath and Body works. It has a salty aroma! They’re affordable (around 15-16 USD). I have the mineral spray and it gives me a clean spritz feeling.
- Books by Pearl S Buck. This woman doesn’t miss. My first book was The Good Earth, which was a trilogy that I ended up reading and loving. Its an immersive experience into rural China in the 1920s, and follows one man, his whole life and his sons (and I believe more generations). If you like multigenerational books, this series is for you! I’m currently listening to her book, Imperial Women. This book is about a concubine’s rise to power and is also immersive! It’s very cultural.
- Chicago architecture. I love scenic places, and I highly suggest that you visit the James Nederlander Theatre. It’s absolutely ornate and indescribable. Every inch of every wall is a piece of intricate art. Namjoon might like it.
- Mango with Chile and lime plus tajin. If you come accross a Hispanic community park, you’ll be able to buy this summer delight.
- I officially like The Good Place show. I’ve watched it at least three times and always enjoy it.
