I’m just so happy. I am. At least, this is my goal for the ‘Tobers of this year! Thanksgiving is coming up and I have the whole week off. Thanks to a kind person I am also free to not worry on Black Friday. Who knows! I might even go shopping.

Black Friday shopping is so fun. I think I’ll keep it simple and go on Thursday night around the local malls. Nothing too far away. I definitely want some sort of advent calendar. There’s tea and hot chocolate to be had.

I will also be celebrating my dads birthday, going to a kpop winter market (hosted by my friend), seeing my best friend, going to a party (hopefully more than one), having a religious thanksgiving, and of course—-candle day!

I want to do all the things that I can do this year. There’s some things that are in the back burner. Most of it does cost money, and so I am going to work for that. There’s free stuff too, like the tree lighting, ice skating, zoo lights. I want to do all the things that make me happy.

Why? Because what else is there to do when the sun sets at 4? I’m going to offset that with a bunch of holiday drinks, movies, books, everything.

I’m also ending the year off strong by ending my two year battle with insomnia. I believe this is my 6th day of sleeping before 1AM. I just have to be consistent with taking my meds on time.

In terms of crafting— I want to finish my snow globe (that I stared last year), work on my embroidery, restart my crochet, and get my two dogs to paint. I also want to do a cute indoor fern with snow decoration.

I have to be creative with the gifts this year. I have to make a list too!

Update:

It’s my vacation week! So far I went to see my friend who is hosting a kpop trading event. I left with a basically free Namjoon poster, and a Christmas gift tin that includes 7 photo cards, two bookmarks, and an assortment of stickers. My friend let me personalize the ones that I want. I also left with a free green Taehyung album. That completes my set of “doubles”.

Today (Sunday and day 2) I spent bonding with my mom! We all had celebratory Chinese food. I watched a little of Santa series before we left for target. Buying all those things for 150 made me realize how far my money can go (as opposed to purchasing BTS merch). But today is also Weverse Black Friday so you know I’m going Holiday Ham on that.

I completed my winter craft by combining three or four random things that I liked and making it into a classy holiday centerpiece treat! I finally got my hands on winter fern, and I added the winter berries from my new year to complete the look. It’s absolutely perfect!

Also, if it’s for you; it’s for you. There is a buy 2 get 1 free book sale and so I finally caved in and got a Colleen Hoover “It Ends with Us” book. Ah!! It’s so emotionally charged. I’m sticking to my Christmas and holiday light reading for now. The other two books I got were about a mortal living in a fairy world and a rich vampire. So random.

My mom also bought me two jackets (the green puffer jacket and a Namjooning sweater). She also got me a Christmas set pajamas, chocolate kisses, and European cookies. Socks and panties too. Gosh I am so blessed to have my mom love me so.

So yeah, today was basically Black Friday with my mom. It was so fun to even just look around! We ended our shopping trip with two tall gingerbread chais.
