Today will be my last day of insomnia.
I promise that after today I will give into my melatonin and stop being a behavioral drag. At first I thought I was prodromal-hypo-symptomatic. But now my sleep meds work and I’m still fighting it.
It’s me. I’m the drama.
According to The Big Bang TV show, a lack of sleep decreases receptors for neuro epinephrine and serotonin which affects cognitive function.
I can’t verify the validity regarding the specifics to that statement, because it’s 2:11 and sleep is over ruling me.
I do know that lack of sleep impairs cognitive function, such as memory.

Jung Kook suffers from forgetfulness because of work, crossing time zones during world tours, (and he probably gives into recreational insomnia like me). We’re both lying down in the same unhelpful bed.
I was watching him talk about it, and everything he says resonated. It’s like the universe split our two impaired insomnia ridden brains together, in the same building but separate rooms. We’re literally saying the same things.
The above is a video of him saying EXACTLY what I’m saying. Only he’s charming and I’m whiney. And we’re both chronic insomniacs. JK has the one-up with age. But that makes me want to catch up to him even more!
Now is the time to close our black-out curtains. I’m ten minutes late to the dream show with Koo. Let’s sleep now Koo 😴
