I was in the middle of doing my 3, 6, 9 affirmations when I stepped back and read what I was writing. I’ve said before that words can be magic. I believe it.
On a physical plane, words are written to memorize lyrics, write laws, document history, explain the roles of a job, educate people through books, write plays, poems, and books for entertainment. Words are used as transcript, or even as means to write a speech that will mobilize a lot of people.
I’m talking about the written word.
In it’s more intimate form in my life, words are used to document my personal world, my blog, thirst Twitter, and my much more censored Facebook. Even the silly captions to the pictures of my Instagram change the meaning of the picture.
On a physical plane those are the entities that are made by the composition of words.
Words are contacts and written promises to love each other until death parts us, or to sign off that we received a package. They construct licenses that give us access to cut into peoples organs or fly a plane. They certify the legitimacy of your existence and categorize you into a subset. It’s endless and I will not endeavor to capsulate everything.
Here is my closest effort to it: words are nearly everything.
On a spiritual plane; different cultures have written down prayers, laws, origin stories. In the new age, people write words to bring their desires to life. Words can cut and words can make one love. Abuse hacks the mind and binds it to undergo certain believes and behaviors. Words of affirmation and love support those that need it.
What is the purpose of these words I’ve written on this entry? None. Just a reflection of my thoughts.
My words are my own. As are yours.
