I’ve tried my best to remain true to TXT’s set list and post song prompts in order, but some things feel more important to talk about. So this title will that precedence over “Maze in the Mirror”

ENTER TRACK 18:

“Can’t you see me?“ – says Hobi and Nick Carter in unison.

I technically can, but I won’t. But I want to, but I won’t. For the audience that isn’t in my head, this blog entry is in reference to the fact that I am going to bail on seeing BSB this Friday and J-Hope at Lolla. I have the time, I have the coveted tickets. So why won’t I go?

Guns. COVID. Now freaking monkey pox.

I hate that this entire year I’ve held off on attending events, for fear of getting shot or sick. It sucks to live in fear. I tried to get over that by buying Lolla and BSB concert tickets, but my cautious family tag-teamed to intensely discourage me from going.

To avoid family drama, I promised I wouldn’t go. And yet, I feel a huge sense of FOMO and sadness that I can’t make it.

It’s okay, right? I mean- I went to four successful concerts in LA, three concerts in LV, and the latest one in Chicago to see TXT last month. I have those memories.

My love for Mr. Carter has faded, and Hobi? I would love to see him in concert on his own. But at the risk of 🐒ulcers? Dang, could there be more dissuasion?

It’s frustrating that I crossed the entire country multiple times just to see them, ONLY to skip out when Hobi pops into my backyard. And less than 30 min away.

The heart wants what it wants.

And two hours after the above rant was written, Namjoon Kim enters my life…..

News just in: mf Namjoon-daddy just cut his hair. His buzz cut pushed me over. I realized I need to survive this life to make it into his comeback solo album/debut. What do I mean?

I mean that I can’t risk my life on Lolla. Forget the risk of shootings, Covid, and Monkey pox as a deterrent to Lolla. Namjoon Kim is the only reason why I won’t be attending any public events.

He is the reason. I’m crazy, and crazy responded back.
